Angela Lim is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience guiding technology and healthcare companies through complex legal, regulatory, and commercial matters. With a unique blend of in-house leadership and deep subject matter expertise, she brings a practical, business-minded approach to legal strategy that supports innovation and growth while mitigating risk.

Angela most recently served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Viz.ai, where she advised on AI-driven healthcare coordination solutions, international distribution channels, and cross-selling partnerships. Prior to that, she was Associate General Counsel at Included Health (formerly Grand Rounds, Inc.), managing commercial transactions and ensuring HIPAA compliance in the digital health space.

Her career spans several high-profile technology companies, including:

• Castlight Health, Inc. – Corporate Counsel, advising product teams on SaaS technology development and leading complex negotiations with Fortune 500 clients.

• SuccessFactors, Inc. – Assistant General Counsel, overseeing U.S. and international SaaS and cross-border transactions during a time of rapid cloud expansion.

• VeriSign, Inc. – Senior Corporate Counsel, managing international commercial transactions and post-acquisition integrations.

 

Angela earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and her B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. She is admitted to practice law in California and Texas.

 

Beyond her corporate practice, Angela has been an active advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. She has served as a board member for Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom, and is a current member of the Asian American Bar Association.
